WHY SIO EXISTS
SIO began with a simple question:
Why do some relationships allow two people to become more fully themselves, while others gradually require them to become less?
That question started decades before SIO.
What followed was years of observing attraction, compatibility, relationship patterns, stated preferences — and the sometimes considerable difference between who people say they want and who they are actually drawn to.
Eventually, another question emerged:
Could you learn enough before two people meet to make the search itself dramatically better?
SIO grew from that question.
DECADES BEFORE SIO
This wasn't originally a business.
It was a personal inquiry — tested, challenged, revised and carried through years of real relationships, conversations and observations.
Some ideas survived. Others didn't.
The ones that survived became increasingly useful at distinguishing between people who merely looked compatible and people actually worth introducing.
SIO is the commercial expression of that work.
A BETTER SEARCH
Modern dating solved access. It did not necessarily solve selection.
SIO isn't designed to show you more people. It's designed to do more work before showing you anyone.
We learn. We screen. We eliminate. And when something unusually promising survives, both people decide whether they want to explore it.
